AUSTIN, Texas – Senior golfer Anton Albers has added one more honor to his incredible 2021-22 season, being named a second team CoSIDA Academic All-American in the men's at-large category.
The honor brings another accolade to a historic year for both Albers and the Little Rock golf program as he has been named the Sun Belt Golfer of the Year, a first team PING All-Region selection and an honorable mention All-American by GCAA. Albers was a first team Academic All-District selection as well, paving the way for his Academic All-America honors. He becomes the first player in the department's history to be named conference Player of the Year, All-Region, All-American and Academic All-American in the same season.
