LITTLE ROCK – Everything was going Little Rock's way for the first 14 minutes Saturday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center, building a double digit lead on rival Arkansas State.
But the Red Wolves outscored the Trojans by 30 over the ensuing 10 minutes, then staved off a furious Little Rock rally to hand the Trojans their fifth-straight loss, 84-83 Saturday afternoon.
Trailing by 22 with just under nine minutes to go, Little Rock once again staged a furious final rally in the closing minutes, pulling to within five at 82-77 with 32.5 seconds remaining off back-to-back layups from Deondre Burns and Rayjon Tucker.
