LITTLE ROCK – After a strong start to her senior year, Annya Grom has been named the Missouri Valley Conference's first Swimmer of the Week of the 2022-23 season. Announced by the conference on Wednesday, this marks the third Swimmer of the Week honor of the senior's career.
The Eilat, Israel native owns the top time in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) in the 100 freestyle by nearly a full second, touching the wall with a time of 51.20 against North Florida. In addition, she has posted the second-fastest time in the conference in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.
