Women's golf ties for third at Pac-12 Championship, earns No. 3 seed in regional championships

The Arizona women’s golf team finished tied for third at the Pac-12 Championships at Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle this week, with an overall score of 9-over par for the tournament. The Wildcats shot a final round score of 293 (+5), finishing 13 shots back of back-to-back Pac-12 Champion UCLA.

UA junior Haley Moore finished the tournament at 6-under par, good for third place. Moore led the field in Par-5 scoring at 10-under par, and came in second in birdies with 15. This marked her fifth top-10 finish of the season. UCLA freshman Patty Tavatanakit bested her teammate Lilia Vu in a playoff to claim the individual title at 8-under par.
