BOULDER, Colo. — The halfway point of the season is a time for evaluation.
Right now, though, it’s tough to figure out exactly where Arizona stands.
The Wildcats weren’t supposed to win against UCLA or at Stanford — and they didn’t, losing their first two Pac-12 games by a combined 64 points. They were heavy favorites against Oregon State, expected to finish as the Pac-12’s worst team, and won accordingly.
So where does that leave Arizona?
The next few weeks will go a long way toward figuring out where exactly the Wildcats (4-2 overall, 1-2 Pac-12) stand in the Pac-12’s pecking order.
