Wildcats name new gymnastics coach

The UA didn't have to look far to find its new gymnastics coach.

Tabitha Yim, one of the Pac-12 Conference's top young coaches, has been named the Wildcats' new boss, the UA announced in a press release Wednesday morning. She replaces Bill Ryden, who parted ways with the UA last month.

Yim spent five seasons coaching at Stanford, where she led the Cardinal’s recruiting efforts and helped the program post its two highest team scores at an NCAA championship events in program history.

Yim, 29, graduated from the school in 2008 with a degree in human biology.
