Wildcats drop second straight to Texas Tech

Fresh off its first loss of the season on Sunday, the No. 9 Arizona Wildcats baseball team fell to No. 6 Texas Tech 13-1 Tuesday night in Lubbock, Texas. The Wildcats have combined for two runs in their past two games after averaging just over 10 runs through their first 10 games.

Despite the substantial margin of the final score, Arizona was the first to scrap a run across. Left fielder Mitchell Morimoto worked a one-out walk in the first, stole second and advanced to third on an error before Alfonso Rivas drove him in with an RBI groundout.
