The Arizona Wildcats women’s tennis team lost 6-1 to No. 4 Stanford over the weekend, but that one victory was an historic one as it was senior Lauren Marker’s 100th career match victory as a Wildcat. She becomes the first Arizona player to reach that mark since current head coach Vicky Maes did it back in 1998.
"I'm really happy about getting to 100," said Marker. "It was a long term goal I had set for myself during my freshman year, so to finally reach it is a great feeling. I couldn't have gotten to this point without all of my awesome and dedicated coaches who have helped so much over the years.
