The Arizona Wildcats volleyball team struck first blood in the Territorial Cup series Thursday, taking down Arizona State in straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-18).
Kendra Dahlke led the way for the Wildcats with 14 kills, while Julia Patterson had 37 assists. Katie Smoot and Shardonee Hayes each chipped in with a career-high nine kills and Devyn Cross made some key plays defensively.
2,685 fans flocked to McKale Center, one of the largest crowds in recent memory.
