UCLA LB Myles Jack out for season

The UCLA Bruins suffered heartbreak Tuesday night as multiple reports confirm that UCLA LB Myles Jack is out for the season with a knee injury. UCLA head coach Jim Mora confirmed the news Wednesday morning.

Reports mention that Jack suffered the injury at Tuesday's afternoon practice and had surgery late last night. According to the LA Times, the injury is a torn meniscus suffered during a non-contact drill.

"Next man up," Jack said on his Twitter account late Tuesday.

The news comes as a shocking blow to the UCLA defense. Jack had been the captain and leader of the team, securing the final interception against BYU to end the game.
