CHICAGO – The NBA mock drafts have it all wrong. NBA teams' big boards probably do, too.
After one season at Arizona, Stanley Johnson figures to be a late top-10 pick to most pundits except Johnson.
"I'm about straight-and-narrow truth," Johnson said here Thursday at the NBA draft combine. "I think I'm the best player in the draft."
That will be left for him to prove, as a player considered in the second tier of draft lottery candidates. But he certainly presents a good case for himself, expressing the confidence and desire that stars possess without coming off overly boastful.
