The Arizona Wildcats are pulling out all the stops to pay tribute to the U.S.S. Arizona as the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor approaches.
A survivor from the U.S.S. Arizona attack will be honored at halftime at Saturday's game against Hawaii at Arizona Stadium, and the Wildcats will also wear special uniforms honoring the battleship. Arizona unveiled the new uniforms Wednesday night
In simple terms, the color combination is white (helmet), gray (jersey) and red (pants). The Wildcats' look will mimic that of the ship itself. The U.S.S. Arizona had a gray hull and red keel.
