TUCSON - Ryan Anderson and the rest of his Southern California-bred teammates have a flight booked from Tucson to Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, and he's pumped.
“We’ve got a nice three-day window” for Christmas break, the Arizona senior forward said. “I’ve got it all planned out already. Ready to make the most of it.”
No doubt, it’s a breather the Wildcats sorely need. Since the first weekend of October, Arizona has held near-daily full-length practices, played 12 games and dealt with an onslaught of injuries plus an off-court issue involving Elliott Pitts all while working in six newcomers.
