A little before noon Friday, the Arizona Wildcats video department released their latest masterpiece.
Coach Rich Rodriguez and several of his players dressed up in tuxedos and starred in a four-minute James Bond-inspired caper called “Licence to Thrill.” The spoof, British spelling and all, was meant to showcase the Wildcats’ unique approach and up-tempo style of play.
Only two UA players earned speaking roles in the viral video. One was the team’s All-America linebacker, Scooby Wright.
The other?
The starting quarterback, of course.
Anu Solomon, firmly entrenched as the team’s starter, said just three words in the video: “Solomon, Anu Solomon,” before pursing his lips and walking out of the shot.
