UA jumps to No. 16 in Top 25 football poll

Arizona, coming off Saturday night's 77-13 drubbing of Northern Arizona, jumped from No. 20 to No. 16 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll released on Sunday.

The Wildcats (3-0) scored touchdowns on their first five possessions of the second quarter and set a school record for points and yardage in a game.

Ohio State is No. 1 and Michigan State is No. 2 were atop the poll, giving the Big Ten the top two teams in the rankings for the first time since 2006.

The Buckeyes received 40 first-place votes after a lackluster victory against Northern Illinois on Saturday.
