LAFAYETTE, La. – Arizona’s NCAA regional game against host Louisiana-Lafayette was postponed and rescheduled for Sunday because of thunderstorms in and around the area.
The teams are now scheduled to play Sunday at 11 a.m., the loser playing again at 5 p.m. against the winner of Saturday night’s elimination game between Sam Houston State and Princeton.
The winner of the Arizona-ULL game will advance to Monday, where the possibility of a doubleheader exists. Teams will play at 11 a.m., with a winner-take-all game to follow if necessary.
