Arizona showed on Friday night it can do just fine without Kerr Kriisa, but having its emotional leader be more than just a cheerleader for the NCAA Tournament would be even better.
Coach Tommy Lloyd said Kriisa, who suffered a sprained right ankle in the final minute of Thursday’s Pac-12 quarterfinal win over Stanford, could be back for the NCAA tourney.
“I don’t think the severity of it is ... I think him playing next week is a real, a real possibility” Lloyd said after the UA beat Colorado 82-72 in the semifinals.
