That’s not entirely true. The Arizona Wildcats’ coach begins every speech differently, talking about that day’s points of emphasis.
The final two minutes, however, his players can recite by heart. In a call-and-response better suited for Sunday mornings, RichRod warns the other team.
“They’re going to have to lace their shoes up tighter,” UA safety Will Parks said, his voice rising to a Rodriguez-level pitch. “They’re going to have to put a little more tape on, put a little more air in their helmets, and they’re going to have to strap it up!
