Steve Kerr, Andre Iguodala, Warriors fall to Raptors in NBA Finals

There will be no three-peat.

The Toronto Raptors ousted the injury-plagued Golden State Warriors 114-110 on Thursday to dispatch the two-time defending champions in six games in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Already without Kevin Durant to a ruptured Achilles, Golden State lost shooting guard Klay Thompson to a knee injury in the third quarter after he poured in 30 points in 32 minutes.

Former Arizona standout Andre Iguodala stepped up by scoring 22 points, but it wasn’t enough.

The Warriors now enter an offseason filled with question marks, as Durant, Thompson, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kevon Looney can all become free agents.
