Lakers forward Tarik Black coached ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, ‘The Source’ for everything Lakers, in the ESPNLA 710 All-Star Celebrity Game. It was great fun for a great cause. The funds raised from the game benefited the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund for The V Foundation. Also, the tournament was sponsored by 24 Hour Fitness, and Scott’s former employer, ESPN, along with others.
Ramona played some stifling defense during the game, blocking passes and smothering the offense. Maybe that’s because she is also a former college athlete. Ramona played outfield for the Stanford Cardinal softball team from 1998-2001.
