We're approximately two weeks away from Arizona football's season opener against BYU in Glendale and so far, BYU has sold more tickets to the game than Arizona — despite the fact that University of Phoenix Stadium is only about two hours away from the UA's campus.
And Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne didn't hesitate to let Wildcat fans know about it in his latest Wildcat Wednesday newsletter. Here's what he wrote:
Ticket sales on the Arizona side of University of Phoenix Stadium are on the rise, but we still have some ground to make up on our BYU counterparts.
