NEW YORK — In audio played for jurors in Wednesday’s federal bribery trial, former Arizona Wildcats assistant coach Book Richardson told aspiring Christian Dawkins that Sean Miller “bought” Deandre Ayton and others.
The audio was played on what’s believed to be the final day of government testimony. The defense of Dawkins and financial planner Munish Sood is expected to be begin Wednesday afternoon. Both men are facing felony bribery charges.
On the audio, recorded June 20, 2017, Dawkins and Richardson are discussing Ayton, who was already on Arizona‘s campus after committing to the Wildcats.
