When Arizona go-to-everything linebacker Scooby Wright III was injured against UTSA, every Arizona fan held their breath. What if he was out for the season? Some of those questions have been answered.
According to Sports Illustrated, the preseason All-American had a procedure Saturday to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee. Previous reports said that the injury wouldn’t put Wright out for the rest of the season and that he would be able to return. Now, Sports Illustrated predicts that the doctors are “upbeat about the prognosis after performing the procedure.”
“It was better than everyone thought,” sources told SI.
