The Arizona Wildcats’ recruiting classes continue to get dismantled following the firing of head coach Kevin Sumlin.
Salpointe quarterback Treyson Bourguet became the latest commit to reopen his recruitment, announcing that decision on Twitter on Monday:
A 3-star recruit, Bourguet is the No. 773 player and No. 41 pro style quarterback in the 2022 class. He’s also listed by 247Sports as the No. 17 player in Arizona. He originally chose the Wildcats on Aug. 12 over offers from Vanderbilt and Idaho.
Bourguet is the fifth prospect to decommit from Arizona since Sumlin’s dismissal, the four others being 3-star running back Montrell Johnson, 3-star wide receiver Tyrese Johnson, junior college cornerback Antonio Brooks, and 4-star wide receiver Kyion Grayes.
