After being waived by the Atlanta Hawks, Richard Jefferson has agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal is worth $2.3 million, reports Wojnarowski. Jefferson was traded to Atlanta by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a salary dump Friday.
The former Arizona Wildcat joins an up-and-coming Nuggets team that finished 40-42 last season.
