Reports: Former Arizona basketball star Rawle Alkins signs with Chicago Bulls

Former Arizona Wildcats basketball star Rawle Alkins has agreed to a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, according to Yahoo's Jordan Schultz and Shams Charania.

Alkins, who averaged 11.8 points over two seasons with the Wildcats, seemed to confirm the news via Twitter with former UA teammate and current Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen.

Alkins played for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Summer League, scoring 25 points points in his Las Vegas finale.

Alkins, a 6-foot-5 guard, has his work cut out for him to crack the rotation in Chicago. In his way on the depth chart are guards Zach LaVine -- who recently signed a four-year, $80 million contract -- Denzel Valentine, Justin Holiday and rookie Chandler Hutchison.
