Report: Arizona's Allonzo Trier suspended for failed PED test

Arizona sophomore guard Allonzo Trier, who has yet to play this season, was suspended after failing a random NCAA performance-enhancing drug test, according to a report by ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Trier reportedly failed the drug test in September, and UA was informed in October. Trier won an appeal, but the NCAA prohibited him from playing until the drug was out of his system.

The Wildcats, currently No. 14 in the AP poll, have gone 16-2 and 5-0 in the Pac-12 entering Thursday's game at USC.

Trier has been allowed to practice and travel with the team but has not yet played in a game.
