Arizona State coach Bobby Hurley saw Anthony Edwards way before he became a projected top pick in next week's NBA Draft.
"I remember him going back years, just seeing him at an AAU event and just looking at him physically and your eyes were immediately drawn to him as you started watching the game," Hurley said. "I'm asking my assistant coach, 'Who is this. Let's figure out who he is.'"
Hurley coached against his share of this year's crop of NBA prospects starting with Edwards. The Republic asked him about six talents looking to hear their named called Wednesday and to break down how they'll fare in the league.
