Arizona quaterback Brandon Dawkins (13) passes the ball during the UA-Houston game on Sept. 9 at Arizona Stadium.
The Arizona football team had another impressive rushing game in their home opener against Northern Arizona, this week was a different story. The results? A reliance on the passing game to win that would never come to fruition in a 19-16 home loss to the visiting Houston Cougars Saturday night at Arizona Stadium.
Brandon Dawkins was inconsistent, erratic at the most inopportune times. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 178 yards, exactly double the output of the passing attack from the week prior.
