Former Arizona Wildcats point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright has signed with the Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League, the country’s highest level, the club announced Saturday.
It is essentially PJC’s first gig as a pro. He appeared in two games with the G League’s Westchester Knicks last season, but otherwise was sidelined with an injury.
“Parker is going to bring a lot to our team,” said Phoenix coach Ben Thomas. “Firstly he is an outright point guard with lightening pace, he will be able to control the tempo of the game for us which is something that we have been looking for this season.
