For the first time since it expanded to 12 teams, the Pac-12 will not have an unbeaten team in October.
The conference took four unbeatens into the fourth week of the season, but losses by Arizona State, Utah and Washington State left California as the lone 4-0 team entering Week 5. Arizona State took care of the Golden Bears 24-17 on Friday night.
Including ASU and Cal, the conference has four 4-1 teams with Washington and Utah being the other two. There are three more teams — Arizona, Colorado, and Oregon — at 3-1 on the season.
