"Blazing Saddles," the classic Mel Brooks comedy, was filmed at the Warner Bros. studio lot.
Fitting, then, that ASU coach Todd Graham arrived for Pac-12 media days dressed like an extra from Rock Ridge.
Graham made the rounds Thursday in custom-made alligator boots featuring the ASU pitchfork logo on the front and Sparky the Sun Devil on the back.
“Obviously, I’m from Texas, so I wear boots. That’s what I wear every day,” Graham said. “I don’t wear them to games. I’d probably slip on the sideline.”
Graham is friends with the owner of Lucchese Boots, who hooked him up with the ASU-inspired kicks.
