Pac-12 football coaches from Arizona and Oregon understand why they were asked to take a pay cut during the coronavirus pandemic and willing to do so.
UA's Kevin Sumlin and Oregon's Mario Cristobal are among other head coaches at their schools to agree to a salary reduction for the 2020-21 school year. Cristobal's pay cut is 10% and Sumlin's is twice as high.
"All you have to do is turn on the news and you see the struggles of people across the country," Sumlin said Thursday during a Pac-12 coaches webinar.
