Oregon got bad news before the game, their center Oregon center Chris Boucher had torn his ACL in the Cal game and could not compete tonight. He actually played on the torn ACL. It was sad news as well, he is a senior and his season was over. Sean Miller, not the petty coach that the Bruins would have you believe he is, the classy coach went over to Chris and expressed his sympathy.
Next fans found out that Keanu Pinder would start the game instead of Dusan Ristic. Maybe it was to not be in foul trouble with his starters, or maybe he was taking advantage of not having Boucher playing, either way, Pinder got three fouls very quickly.
