For the first time since 1945, there will not be a fall football season for Arizona State.
The Pac-12 will reportedly not play football this fall because of the coronavirus pandemic and concerns for player safety. Half of the conference schools are in the states of Arizona and California which have had a second surge of cases.
Coaches, athletic directors and medical professionals took part in a conference call Monday night with school presidents and chancellors meeting and voting on the matter today.
According to multiple media outlets the Big 10 made the same decision earlier in the day.
