When it comes to basketball, no one knows Arizona’s Sean Miller and Arizona State’s Bobby Hurley better than the men who raised and coached them.
John Miller and Bob Hurley Sr., are legends within the profession. In Pennsylvania, Miller, 72, coached high school basketball for 35 years, retiring in 2004 with 657 wins.
In New Jersey, Hurley Sr., 68, still is running practice at St. Anthony High School. A member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, he has collected 1,151 wins and 27 state championships in 44 seasons.
On Wednesday, their sons will square off for the second time this season.
