The latest NCAA Tournament projections are not kind to Arizona State, Arizona and the Pac-12 in general.
According to most projections, the conference currently has three teams in the tournament with Washington joining the Arizona schools.
Their hold on a tournament berth, however, is tenuous at best.
CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has both the Sun Devils and Wildcats as No. 11 seeds in his latest projections, but he has them as two of the last four teams making the tournament.
As such, he has Bobby Hurley's team facing Pittsburgh in a First Four game for the Midwest Region and Sean Miller's team facing Cincinnati in a First Four game for the South Region.
