Marvin Bagley III, the top recruit in 2018, has filed paperwork with NCAA Clearinghouse to reclassify to 2017, according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com.
Filing the paperwork, doesn't guarantee that Bagley will be cleared for the 2017 class, but that he's asking the NCAA to review and evaluate his academic standing to potentially do so.
The possibility of Bagley reclassifying was first reported by Jerry Meyer of 247Sports earlier in July and Gary Parrish of CBS Sports said later said it has been out there “for a long, long time.
