After being cut on Saturday by the Patriots, former Wildcat Marquis Flowers was in search of a new team to play for. Luckily, it only took two days for him to find a new squad.
Early Monday morning, it was reported that Flowers had signed with the Detroit Lions, most likely on a one-year deal, as he was with New England. The deal was first reported by Ian Rappaport of NFL Network.
Before the 2017 season, Flowers was traded to the Patriots from the Bengals, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 2014 draft.
