A lot of prospects from the Bayou state have been making their way to Tucson lately
This past year, Arizona opened up a huge recruiting pipeline in the state of Louisiana. Ties held by offensive coordinator Calvin Magee started to build relationships in the area. It really started becoming a hot spot when Arizona earned a bid for the AdvoCare V100 Bowl in 2013, held in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Arizona has landed five Louisiana products in the 2015 recruiting class, two of which come from Cavalry Baptist (Shreveport, Louisiana). This is the same high school as 2016 quarterback Shea Patterson, who committed to Arizona his sophomore year, but later de-committed and flipped to Ole Miss.
