The Wildcats learned that local, Southern Arizona prospect, Jamarye Joiner (Cienega High School) had committed to the University of Arizona on Sunday.
Joiner is the first commit in the 2018 class for Arizona, but should prove to be a solid pickup for the Cats, when all is said and done. Plus, it is always nice to keep the best state and city talent in Arizona.
He will also join 2017 football commit, Drew Dixon, who is another talented, Southern Arizona prospect.
At 6-foot-1 and now nearly 200 pounds, the commit from Vail, AZ projects to be an athlete for the Wildcats at the next level, but could play as a Dual-Threat Quarterback.
