When the University of Arizona begins constructing its new Indoor Sports Center this month, the final remnants of Jerry Kindall Field at Frank Sancet Stadium will be removed.
But the UA will continue to recognize the two Arizona baseball coaching legends by building a monument at the site of the old stadium, it was announced Saturday in a press release.
The design of the monument is still being finalized, but I’d be willing to bet it will be located in the middle of the plaza pictured below:
