While the school is taking its sweet time deciding on Sean Miller’s future, at least one of Arizona’s players isn’t waiting around to see if he’s coming back.
Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star is reporting that redshirt junior guard Jemarl Baker Jr. is “expected to transfer from the Wildcats after graduating the spring.”
Baker missed the final 14 games of the 2020-21 due to a broken bone in his wrist. Prior to that he was averaging a career-high 12 points per game that was bolstered by a 33-point performance against NAU—the most points scored by a Miller player at Arizona—and 29 in a loss at Stanford.
