The University of Arizona employment Web site is listing 10 openings for football assistants, and one of those may soon get filled by a coach at another Pac-12 school.
Doug Samuels of FootballScoop.com is reporting that new Arizona Wildcats head coach Jedd Fisch is planning to add UCLA wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Jimmie Dougherty to his initial staff in a “senior capacity on offense.”
Dougherty, 42, has been with the Bruins since 2017, when Fisch was UCLA’s offensive coordinator. The two also worked together at Michigan in 2016, with Fisch handling the passing game and Dougherty serving as an offensive analyst.
