Former Arizona Wildcats great Jason Terry could be returning to Tucson.
Stadium's Jeff Goodman reported Tucson on Twitter that Terry "has emerged as the leading candidate to join Sean Miller’s staff as an assistant," according to a source.
Terry responded to Goodman's tweet with a jet emoji and an emoji representing Arizona's motto, "Bear Down."
Terry's nickname is "The Jet."
Terry was a key sixth man on Arizona’s 1997 national championship team and an All-American as a senior in 1998-99.
He played 19 years in the NBA.
Last season he was an assistant general manager for the G League’s Texas Legends.
