While several top-10 prospects have eliminated the Arizona Wildcats from consideration because of their involvement in an FBI investigation, UA’s 2018 recruiting class has remained in tact.
Brandon Williams and Shareef O’Neal are still on board, and five-star point guard Jahvon Quinerly confirmed Saturday that he is still committed to Arizona — “for now,” according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
That said, Quinerly’s future in college basketball is in serious doubt since it appears he received payments from Arizona, as described in a federal complaint. Obviously if that’s true, it would inhibit his ability to be deemed eligible by the NCAA.
