Hillary Edior’s first hit in nearly a month was a decisive one.
The junior’s seventh-inning, pinch-hit RBI double lifted No. 9 Arizona to a 1-0 win over Stanford on Thursday in Palo Alto.
Edior hit a frozen rope down the left field line, which scored freshman designated player Ivy Davis, who drew a two-out walk.
It was Edior’s first at-bat since April 13.
