The legend of Haley Moore continues.
A year after sinking the putt that made Arizona women’s golf national champions, the senior drilled a birdie putt on 18 on Tuesday to lift the Wildcats past No. 1 USC and into the NCAA semifinals.
By making the putt, Moore beat USC’s Gabriela Ruffels by a stroke and broke a 2-2 tie in match play.
The defending champs will face No. 2 Duke or No. 7 Stanford in the semifinals on Wednesday morning. The event is being held at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
