To get to where it wants to go, Arizona will have to win in a place it's never been before.
This weekend's NCAA Super Regionals mark the Wildcats' first-ever trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas, and just their second-ever game against the Arkansas Razorbacks (The Wildcats run-ruled the Hogs 9-1 in a 2003 game played in Tucson).
Arkansas is not a traditional softball power, but its No. 6 overall seeding, Southeastern Conference regular-season title and combination of stellar pitching and power hitting make the Razorbacks a team to be reckoned with. Add in the capacity crowds expected at Bogle Park, and the Wildcats — seeded 11th in the tournament — will need to play some of their best softball of the year to advance.
