One week after the Wildcats completed their first spring game under Kevin Sumlin, Arizona turns its focus on recruiting, as the Wildcats host four-star quarterback, Grant Gunnell.
It is no secret the Wildcats could use a little upgrade in talent, especially if they hope to reach that “next level”. Over the years, Arizona has fared okay in recruiting, but their respective rankings in comparison to the rest of the Pac-12 isn’t really earth shattering.
Blame the lack of traditions, average results or decent facilities, but recruiting also takes relationships, and simply just offering. You’ll never know if you don’t ask, and unfortunately it seems like the Wildcats under Rich Rodriguez would offer some of the nations top recruits, but wouldn’t focus on actively recruiting them.
